SunSystems – Accounting and Financial Management System
SunSystems is the leading accounting and financial management system in the Brazilian insurance market. The system is owned by Infor (www.infor.com), one of the world’s largest software providers, and has been distributed in Brazil by ITG since 1996. SunSystems is used by more than 9,000 companies across dozens of countries and is available in 28 languages. The system offers a high degree of flexibility to meet all information requirements in complex accounting and financial environments such as insurance companies, many of which are multinational. Its key differentiator is the Infor Query and Analysis (Q&A) tool. It connects to Excel and allows users to extract and analyze accounting data from the database in real
MCE – Event Accounting Module
The MCE enables the centralization of accounting rules in a single module, allowing operational systems to generate accounting events. This significantly simplifies maintenance, including the implementation of chart of accounts changes required by SUSEP. Events can be configured by users and defined by effective date, ensuring compliance with changes in accounting rules over time. The module also allows operational systems to work with their own tables, which are then converted into SUSEP tables through mapping functions. Additionally, as a final output, it can generate import files in multiple formats for any accounting system.
GLC – Accounting Batch Manager
The GLC Module enables the management of manual batch entry based on events previously defined and configured by the user. Users are assigned to event groups, allowing the monitoring and approval of entered batches before they are imported into SunSystems. This module is integrated with the Event System and SunSystems.
MRC – Accounting Records Module
The MRC module processes insurance accounting information for several purposes: generation of FIPSUSEP and DBFSUSEP Accounting files; generation of files for SPED EFD Contributions, SPED ECD, and SPED ECF; reclassification of information for IFRS reporting and analysis; managerial allocation; company consolidation; and the generation of customized management reports, among other functions.
